Vada Pav Recipe in – Mumbai Marathi Vada Pav- How to make Vada Pav- Smitane Kali Mirch.
recipes: The local train is called the lifeline of Mumbai, a cheap means of transportation to feed thousands of people to work on time! And sometimes on this long journey, stuck in the heavy rains of Mumbai, or just passing the time sometimes, I would say that vada pav which satisfies the tongue and stomach is not even an inch less than a lifeline!
This vada pav was born in Mumbai, and then its fame spread far and wide, even across the ocean! That’s why Vadapav stands before the eyes, the pulsating locals, the people running on the clocks outside the CST station, the people pumping the trains even in the middle of the night to feed the hot vadas quickly wrapped in newspaper in a pan on the stove lit by the pumps… in our school life and engineering college. To eat vada pav, the cans were deliberately left at home for at least one day. At that time Vada pav costing 2 to 3 rupees is now 15 rupees, but its appeal has not decreased at all! We used to consider the vada pav maker as a master chef who considered food from mother’s hands as heaven. !
This vadapav, which used to cost only 20 paise, is still useful for everyone without any distinction between rich and poor. My school is in Dadar and Ideal is a very old book store in Dadar East! I used to go there frequently with my mother to buy school books, novels, required stationery. Chabildas school is there, my mother studied here! That’s why there is Srikrishna Vada Pav which is famous as Chabildas Vada Pav, we both used to eat vada pav there without fail! My favorite vadapav, Gol Gol Ha Bhala Mottha and then Kailash Mandir Lassi! No wonder they say “mother is your first friend”! Now recently I had to go to Mumbai to visit my mother, took her to eat the famous “Ashok Vada Pav” in front of Keerti College. A tasty vada pav with a lot of crumble, this vada pav is one of the famous vada pavs of Mumbai. If you ever go to Dadar side, be sure to visit !
Even so, if there is too much sweet food in Ganapati, let it be a little change of taste like janjanit vada pav!
